Crocuses peep through on The Green

Back in October the club organised the planting of 5000 crocus bulbs on The Green in Devizes as part of Rotary’s nationwide Purple4Polio campaign. I’m delighted to say that the crocus flowers are now beginning to come through as spring approaches:

The crocuses symbolise the many thousands of children throughout the world who have been immunised against the Polio virus, and whose fingers have been dyed purple to indicate that they have received the vaccine.
